Registration for International Nanotribology Forum, Chiang Rai, 13th - 17th January, 2020

Location of Meeting

The meeting will take place in the Le Meridien Chiang Rai Resort, located in the historic city of Chiang Rai, Thailand. The meeting location is only 8 km from Chiang Rai Airport, which is served by several dozen daily flights from Bangkok, as well a number of international flights.January is an excellent month for visiting Chiang Rai. Temperatures average around 20°C (69°F), with an average of 8 hours of sunshine per day.

Registration Fee

(before 1st November 2019): US $550 ($300 for Students)

(after 1st November 2019): US $650 ($350 for Students)

Registration includes attendance at all sessions, coffee breaks, lunches, as well as the social events including welcome reception, conference banquet, and an outing. You must register to attend the conference. Registration takes effect once payment is received.

Abstracts need to be received by 15th October 2019. Please send them to chiangrai@nanotribology.org, as single-page Word documents (free format, but include title, authors, affiliations, and underline speaker name).

Accommodation is in the Le Meridien Chiang Rai Resort.

Room prices in Le Meridien (conference rate in US$, including breakfast and all taxes):

$150/night/person single, $85/night/person double/twin room, $65/night/person triple room, payable together with registration fee.

(If you wish to share a double/twin or triple room with other registered participants or traveling companions, please make a note of your wishes below.)

Scholarships

Scholarships are available for students and young researchers. These cover registration, accommodation, and travel assistance. Please apply, before 1 October 2019 via email to chiangrai@nanotribology.org providing contact details, your CV, and an abstract of the participant's work related to the conference.
