Following the highly successful nanotribology meetings in 2000 and 2003 in Bali, 2001, 2004, and 2008
in Sikkim, India,  2007 and 2011 in Hoi An, Vietnam, 2014 in Kerala, India, 2018 in Goa, India, and 2020 in Chiang Rai, Thailand the International Nanotribology Forum (INF) is organizing a meeting in this series in Khajuraho, India from 26th to 30th January, 2026.

Topics of the workshop include:

Soft tribology
Biotribology
Fundamentals of adhesion and friction
Understanding wear
New techniques in nanotribology

The workshop will consist of invited and submitted lectures and poster presentations, with extensive opportunities for discussion.

Chandela Lobby

The meeting will take place in the Hotel Chandela, located in the historic city of Khajuraho, in the state of Madhya Pradesh in India. Khajuraho is renowned for its collection of ancient temples, which comprise a world heritage site, on account of its representation of the Hindu and Jain art of the Chandela dynasty (about 1000 years ago). Khajuraho is in North India, located a few hours drive south of the city of Kanpur and about an hour’s direct flight from Delhi, which is well connected by international flights.
